Extraction Thimbles

Extraction thimbles are specialized cylindrical devices used primarily in the process of solid-liquid extraction to isolate desired compounds from solid materials using solvents. These thimbles are essential in environmental testing, food analysis, and quality control laboratories. Made from high-purity cellulose, glass fiber, or quartz, they are designed to fit snugly within Soxhlet extractors or similar apparatus, providing an effective means of holding the sample while allowing the solvent to pass through repeatedly.
